This is Grassroots Alexandria! http://grassrootsalexandria.org/ We held our first organizing meeting on Monday December 19, 2016, in Alexandria Virginia, USA. We will move forward with non-partisan, issue-focused political action. A healthy democracy thrives on the healthy political activity of individuals. Just like with exercise, a little activity, on a daily or weekly basis, goes a long way. Grassroots Alexandria promotes local, non-partisan, long-term conversations, community education and action towards positive solutions by those who are moved to act on their conscience.
