Our goal is to build a diverse group of people in the Kennett Square area for the common purpose of protecting our democracy, focusing our energies towards effective actions and supporting one another as we do the hard work of staying engaged, which is our civic duty. Our mission is to resist Trump’s agenda by empowering grassroots activists to weaken congressional Republican resolve and embolden Democratic opposition through informed local action. When a member posts about a particular subject, he or she should expect to be able to do so without unwelcome negativity by other members. Please respect other people's threads. Discussion is welcome, personal or ad hominem attacks are not. Inflammatory, abusive or trollish/spam-like posts are not welcome, and will result in a warning from an admin. You will get one warning and if you do not do as we ask, you will be removed from the group. New members are always welcome and members can and should feel free to add friends and family who share the same goals and values.
