There is truth to the saying 'strength in numbers'--the more members Mass NOW has, the more effective we are! Speakers: Mass NOW provides speakers on a variety of issues affecting women and girls. Whether you are looking for someone to speak on economic justice or women in politics, Mass NOW has someone who can fit your needs! Referrals: Mass NOW provides referrals to members in need of services for sexual assault and domestic violence, reproductive and women's health, LGBTQ issues, legal issues, workplace discrimination, and much more. ENGAGE: Mass NOW founded a program for young girls, ages 8-15, called ENGAGE: Empowering our Nation's Girls to Advocate for Gender Equity. We work with schools and community centers around the state to help ensure that young feminists have a forum to discuss issues that affect them and their communities. We aim to empower, educate, and engage these young women to advocate for gender equity in their own lives. CANs: We offer Campus Action Networks (CANs) for college students looking to found a NOW group on campus. We help you set it up and provide on-going support, but you can decide what you want to do! Internships: Mass NOW's Internship Program offers high-level, professional internships to high school, college, and graduate students. We work with you to set up an internship that meets your needs, interests, and skills. Volunteer: We have numerous volunteer opportunities for anyone interested in supporting our work.
