We are the Georgia State Chapter of NARAL Pro-Choice America, working to defend the rights of women to prevent unintended pregnancies and to determine if, when, how, and with whom to start or grow a healthy family. What does it mean to be Pro-Choice? It means defending the rights of women to prevent unintended pregnancy with comprehensive sex education and affordable birth control, to choose accessible, affordable legal abortion, the right to workplaces without pregnancy discrimination, and access to the pre-natal care and paid family leave they need to have healthy children. The NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia public page on Facebook is a place for respectful discussion about protecting and expanding reproductive freedom. Comments are actively moderated by NARAL Pro-Choice America staff during our business hours from 9 am - 5:30 pm Eastern time on weekdays. NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia is committed to keeping our Facebook page a safe space for commentary and free of hate speech. Comments that threaten or condone violence, show extreme disrespect for any person, or exist solely to provoke arguments are considered inappropriate and will be deleted.
