Putting people before party is a must and we, an open-minded group of Post-Berners, realize it takes all of us working together to make our communities, our states and our world a better place to live. Party is no longer our thread of connectivity; whether you are Blue, Green, Red, Socialist, Independent, WFP, non-affiliated, #Demexit or other, it will take all of our voices in order to accomplish progressive change. We support candidates and causes that serve the many, not the few. Sen. Bernie Sanders stands for honesty and integrity so please show these qualities towards one another. Let's focus on our shared goals as we move our political revolution forward! Rural Oregon Progressives is an autonomous group that addresses national and local issues important to rural Oregonians. We support an agenda for working class Americans which promotes a living wage, healthcare for all Americans, electing leaders who do not trade votes for bribes, and furthering the causes of racial, environmental, economic and social justice. Rural Oregon Progressives envisions a just, peaceful and equitable society in which communities reach their full potential, are enhanced by ongoing civic and political engagement, and have access to necessary resources in order to uphold the dignity of each individual and all living beings within a healthful environment. Issues matter and local communities can be instrumental in establishing the agenda and the issues considered by politicians and decision makers. Political party affiliation is not our thread of connectivity; instead, Rural Oregon Progressives are aligned on issues. We will support candidates and causes that result in systemic progressive change that serves the many, not the few.
