PDA has been organizing in western PA for 12 years. It has over 1200 people and is represented on the PA Democratic Committee. We are focused on the campaign for single payer healthcare on both the PA and US level. We are founding members of the PA Moral Monday Coalition - working with the NAACP, the AFL-CIO, NOW, and PEACE LINKS. We recently held a Democratic Congressional candidates forum co-sponsored by Beaver County Young Democrats. Three members ran for Bernie Delegate and our chapter treasurer was elected as a Bernie Delegate.
