PA NOW is a grassroots, non-profit, volunteer organization which includes women and men members, young and old, all colors, classes and backgrounds, working for equal rights for all women. PA NOW has worked to change laws covering domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, child abuse and divorce reform. It fights for abortion rights, health care issues, welfare reform, and equity in education and in sports.The organization endorsed the following representatives in that year.
