PHDR is a political club committed to implementing reform in Brooklyn politics Prospect Heights Area Democrats for Reform is a group of progressive Democrats committed to implementing reform in Brooklyn politics. Based in Prospect Heights, but representing the surrounding communities of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Crown Heights and Bed-Stuy as well, PHDR is committed to engaging residents from these neighborhoods in the democratic process through political reform, education and awareness. PHDR will endorse and help elect reform-minded Democratic candidates to local elected positions to give residents an effective voice at all levels of government, and will work with our elected officials to hold them accountable. We will also encourage residents of Prospect Heights to run for office, because the more residents participate and work with local government, the better our government will be.
