Welcome to Queen Bees! We were brought together to be committed to strengthening and empowering women. Energized by the current rhetoric that has degraded women and women's rights, speaks of overt and thinly veiled racism, xenophobia and jingoism. The most important thing that came out of our first gathering was that we must be committed. And that we must take action. These are issues of social justice that we will stand behind regardless of who is holding office. Change comes in the form of resistance, and we will resist the erosion of human rights.We believe these to be purposeful and useful commitments that are intersectional in nature and reflect the spirit of Queen Bees. Keep in mind that these commitments are the group commitments, and individually, you may be able to focus on one more than another. Everyone starts where they are. We simply encourage you to review these, and see where you might be able to commit in your way.
