Founded on July 1, 1978, the South Carolina Chapter Sierra Club is state's largest grassroots environmental organization with over 30,000 members and supporters across South Carolina. In addition to leading outdoor adventures in all parts of the state, the South Carolina Sierra Club works to safeguard the health of our communities, protect wildlife, and preserve our remaining wild places through grassroots activism, public education, lobbying and litigation.
