Take Action! Eugene is a new group of concerned members of the larger Eugene community that are organizing politically, many for the first time. We are a group committed to taking action to protect our communities, defend our democracy, and build an America that works for all of us. We want to figure out ways for more people to take action together, so that we can build the people-power that we need. We are working on national issues as well as keeping our local politicians focused on progressive values. We will carry out these goals in two primary ways: * Share a select number of actions that we as a collection of individuals can take; and * Apply pressure to Oregon-based elected leaders to publicly support and find the funding to properly carry out our values of inclusion, health care for all, and environmental protection.
